It was held on November 10 in Milan, at the National Museum of Science and Technology "Leonardo da Vinci", the seventh edition of KNX Day, during which the Association KNX Italy has awarded the 5 best KNX projects implemented on the national territory.
Nextworks was awarded in the "social" category with the "Villa Zandò" project, designed to support people with special needs. The use of KNX modules made it possible to create a building that would make an 11-year-old girl with brain injuries that prevent her from walking and using speech as autonomous as possible.
The solution allows her to interface with any system both from a fixed location, via a web interface on a PC with a joystick and a button under the desk, and from a mobile location via a tablet, connected directly to the electric wheelchair.
