LIGHTNESS: Low latency and high throughput dynamic network infrastructures for high performance datacentre interconnects

Main Goal
Design, implement and experiment high-performance all-optical hybrid data plane for data centre networks combining both Optical Circuit Switching (OCS) and Optical Packet Switching (OPS), all controlled by SDN control plane.

Nextworks role
Leader of control plane developments on SDN (OpenDaylight) and PCE.
