cristiano bozzi

Cristiano Bozzi knows two things very well: technical precision and the yachting market.

A career that began as a researcher in digital transport of audio/video content, continued as a technical manager, and today as Chief Sales Officer: an evolution that may seem non-linear at first glance. In reality, he has transformed technical expertise into a form of high-level commercial consultancy.

It is thanks to this dual nature, both engineering and strategic, that he is able to lead projects in the yacht sector, where systems must not only work flawlessly, but also do so with style, in unique and complex environments.

When Nextworks was founded, versatile streaming platforms for residential or nautical environments did not yet exist. The few high-end home cinema solutions available, capable of delivering excellent quality, were designed for static environments, with little room for integration and customization. Onboard a yacht, however, much more was needed: centralized control, network reliability, lightness, and flexible content management adaptable to complex scenarios.

Thanks to his research background, together with the Nextworks team, Cristiano contributed to the creation of a streaming server capable of managing digital content efficiently, scalably, and fully integrable with other onboard systems. Although that module is no longer part of current platforms, it marked a key step in shaping the company’s approach to audio/video integration in both yachting and residential contexts.

In such a complex field as integrated systems, having a CSO who speaks both the language of technicians and that of the market is a concrete competitive advantage.

He describes himself as the group’s “normalizer”: the one who takes ideas and turns them into solid, implementable, market-ready solutions. Thanks to his background, he doesn’t just sell features, he ensures that every choice is designed at state-of-the-art standards, with a strong focus on reliability and future evolution.

In today’s ever-evolving digital ecosystem, he looks at AI with curiosity: his goal is to keep integrating innovation, renewing his skills, and pushing Nextworks to do the same.
