Alessandro Martuci

Alessandro combines technical vision and commercial strategy in a unique profile within the integrated systems sector. As Business Development Lead, he acts as the strategic interface between our development team and the luxury villa market, where home automation technology is an integral part of the living experience.

With Symphony, the home automation software developed in-house by Nextworks, Alessandro doesn’t just sell solutions: he guides clients and designers through the transformation of complex architectural requirements into tailor-made digital living systems. His ability to translate technical language into a commercial vision stems from a strong background in technological R&D.

Like all of Nextworks’ founders, his early years were dedicated to research and development projects. His first experiences in the VOIP sector, back when the technology was still experimental, shaped him into a professional who understands technology from the inside and can envision its applications. From his internship at the META Pisa consortium to projects with Olivetti Sanità, and consulting on network technologies in Florida, Alessandro developed a versatile skill set that proved crucial for residential automation.

Before VOIP became mainstream, he was working on gateways capable of converting analog voice into IP packets: intelligent systems designed to manage network traffic, quality of service, and real-time billing. These were technological bridges that anticipated the digital convergence of countless technologies, which eventually came together at Nextworks in a comprehensive platform for complex integrated systems, a platform we have been developing and marketing for over twenty years.

Today, Alessandro is the face of Nextworks in the residential sector: he collaborates with clients and architects creating spectacular residences, listens to complex needs, and transforms them into concrete technological solutions orchestrated through Symphony. And above all, and this is something you won’t find in any job title, he still has fun doing it.
