Main Goal

Trial 5G technologies in the cross-border corridor connecting the cities of Metz-Merzig-Luxembourg, traversing the borders between France, Germany and Luxembourg to validate advanced 5G features such as 5G New Radio, MEC-enabled distributed computing, Predictive QoS, Network Slicing, and improved positioning systems, all combined together, to enable innovative use cases for connected, cooperative and autonomous mobility (CCAM).

Nextworks role
Work on core services for Network Slicing, multi-domain resource orchestration, configurable monitoring and edge computing orchestration, adaptations/developments on MEC related network services for tele-driving.
